Young Ambassadors for Climate Protection

The “Arpa” Environmental Foundation successfully implemented another educational and environmental initiative titled “Young Ambassadors for Climate Protection.”

Within the framework of the program, 25 young participants from Areni and Yeghegnadzor communities took part in 8 environmental-themed sessions, which included both theoretical and practical activities on topics such as:

“Environmental Protection and Conservation,”
“How to Prevent Dangerous Climate Change,” and
“Tourism as a Tool for Nature Conservation.”

This initiative was implemented as part of a sub-grant component under the program “Youth for a Climate-Smart Future,” led by the “Syunik-Development” NGO in cooperation with UNICEF.
The “Youth for a Climate-Smart Future” program is funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and implemented by UNICEF, in collaboration with the Ministries of Environment, Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, and Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
