Gndasar is well known for its rare birds like Caspian snowcock / Tetraogallus caspius/. It is registered in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. This heavy flying bird can easily avoid predators and quickly gain a speed in flight while escaping from an enemy. The species is a year-round resident although makes some small vertical movements in winter.
